The Brooklyn rapper obviously got carried away in a tweet, now deleted, where he attacked Eminem very ambiguously.
Did we really understand Joey Badass’s tweet? In fact, we hope not. Last night, the rapper has indeed posted on his Twitter account a message in which he spoke on the recent fight between Jay-Z and Donald Trump. He thus made the connection with the radio silence of the President to the author of Revival, which, however, has repeatedly charged for several months now. Translating literally we understand: “So Trump takes the time to answer Jay-Z but he still does not respond to Slim Shady ??? Hahahahaha! it seems obvious that they are on the same side. ”
A very ambiguous message
If we believe Joey Badass’s tweet, it seems to imply that Eminem and Donald Trump are on the same side. But which side? Given the number of peaks sent by Slim Shady to the President, hard to believe that the rapper shares a bit the opinion of the resident of the White House. What is certain, however, is that Eminem is the only artist who has not been entitled to a muscular response from the billionaire. Nor any other besides, except one of his son, Donald Trump Jr. When he speaks of “same side”, Joey Badass evokes the color of skin? This might seem more logical, as the artist is a strong advocate of the black cause. The tweet, therefore deleted, could have been elsewhere to avoid any misinterpretation. Like ours? We hope so, anyway.
How do you think Joey Badass’s message should be understood?
